EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: SoulKiller - Devil (Feat. Hunter Black)

SoulKiller is an experimental metalcore supergroup that pushes the boundaries of modern metalcore with the mix of EDM and Metal. With members from past metalcore heavy hitters ‘I, The Breather’ and ‘For All I Am’, Soulkiller has had eyes locked on them since the day the project was announced. Now, all eyes are on them as they announce their signing with Tough Luck Music and release their new single “Devil.”

Devil is an aggressive track that highlights the best aspects about this band. Vocalists Shawn Spann and Dave Hansen really shine on this track. Shawn delivered incredibly raw vocals that made I, The Breather who they were and Dave backing him makes the dynamic so exciting to listen to.  The song reminds me of earlier Motionless In White but less creepy. The downtuned guitars play very well with the heavy EDM that is intertwined in the track and sucks you in while listening. I won’t spoil the big breakdown but I can say I was shocked in the best way. They also featured Hunter Black on this amazing track as well! This song release includes a video that kills! The dark atmosphere the video and the band’s image creates only heightens this song, some could say it’s very “devil-ish”.

Tough Luck Music is a growing name in the metalcore/alternative music industry and this is yet another strong signing. The future for both of them is bright and you can expect HUGE things from this pair. An incredible release that is a MUST HEAR this week.
