EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Pretty Suspect - “Ya Rly”

Emerging from the Pacific Northwest, Pretty Suspect has just released their newest single titled ‘Ya Rly’. Writing about the experience of being at the end of a relationship, Pretty Suspect takes you into their mind and emotions while also giving you something to groove to! The band bases their sound in their catchy hooks and up beat music inspired by early 2000’s emo, post hardcore, and pop punk which translated beautifully in this track. The nostalgia  factor and vibe plays a huge role in their music and visuals from their image to their music video style choices!  The video for ‘Ya Rly’ may appear to be 360fps, but that was a stylistic choice because the whole video was shot POV style on a Nintendo 3DS!! If that isn’t Rawr nostalgia, I don’t know what is. Even though the music video is simple, it’s effective in showing who the band is and is a true testament to their creativity and brand. 

This will be the band’s fourth release which has been highly anticipated. Their 2nd demo has now reached over 100k streams on Spotify alone with the others all having multiple thousands. The word is getting out on this Northwest group and they seem to have a bright future! They plan on testing the waters with a few short runs in the near future and are pushing the limits in the surrounding areas. With a bright future and a bullet proof gameplan, Pretty Suspect is on the rise.
