Alternative bands have a wonderful tendency of connecting and engaging with their fans in unique ways, and Sorry Ghost is no exception. In the video for their new single “Nosedive”, the band recruited fans from far and create an unforgettable lyric video that’ll leave a smile on your face.

Sorry Ghost is a pop-punk trio hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Consisting of bassist Matthew Polito, drummer Tyler Hernandez, and bassist/vocalist Daniel Anton, the sound they capture is both addicting and easy-going in “Nosedive”. In the song, Anton conveys a message of resilience and fortitude in the wake of struggle. The band compliments that message with a catchy melody, driving beat, and a chorus with strong hooks.

The video for the single adds to the atmosphere of the song in a huge way - the band enlisted fans from far and wide to write out, act out, or play out the lyrics however they saw fit. Whether it be a spooky room, a playground slide, an adorable cat, or fellow musicians playing along, Sorry Ghost turned the spotlight to the audience to create a memorable and connective video that you’ll have on repeat.

“Nosedive” creates a wonderful atmosphere through the melody, lyrics, and overall message behind the song; the video truly brought that atmosphere home. It’s the easy going classic pop-punk vibe that will leave a smile on your face, and the excitement of every person featured in the video reinforces that sound. If you’re having an off day and need a pick-me-up, “Nosedive” will do it for you and then some.
