When We Were Hungry Festival announces their second waves of bands for their line up
Written by Ryan Porter (of Demo Team Podcast)
Mark your calendars for October 20th & 21st because Las Vegas is going to become a bright burning beacon of some of the best music in the scene! When We Were Hungry Fest was born earlier this year from a simple meme and has evolved so much. Modern Day Escape’s William Wenz, a savant at whipping up powerfully engaging content, has a powerful beast of a festival on his hands. With this second batch of band announcements, it appears this festival is becoming a powerful worthy adversary for the When We Were Young Festival that will take place later that week in the same glowing, sin city of Las Vegas. Posting across their social media pages today, the magical organically grown festival was in full flex mode announcing a slew of great talented artists to bulk up the festivals already impressive line-up, here it is:
“When We Were Hungry Fest proudly welcomes Hellogoodbye, Alesana, Social Order (featuring members of Metro Station), Rookie of the Year, Beyond Unbroken, Ovtlier, Fight From Within
AND we are excited to share that the festival will take place at Rockstar Bar Las Vegas - Concert on the green.
Full lineup coming SOON.
Make sure you’re following us on all social media so you don’t miss any announcements!”
With scene legends and giants like Alesana, ASD (original lineup of A Skylit Drive), Dropout Kingz, with support from legends like Along Came A Spider, Scarlett O’Hara, RIVALS, and the legendary Modern Day Escape, Saving Vice, Violent New Breed and with the promise of so many more artists filling the lineup in the near future! The Pancakes In The Pit are getting hot, fluffy and fully developed into something monumental! It’s worth investing in a trip to Vegas, because we’re pretty sure whatever is going to happen here, is gonna stay here and is gonna dwell in the minds of all who attend for all time. Get your tickets, this is shaping up to be one of the best times to visit Vegas as the end of October could very well make the spooky season very, very emo.
