SONG REVIEW: Dim - "someone else"

Back in 2020 things were incredibly dull and just all around a terrible year in general. But ironically the band Dim happened to form in that horrible time that is 2020 and shine some light on us with their incredible music. Speaking of incredible music, the band has recently released a new single called “someone else” off their EP entitled “From Dark To Light We’ll See”. 

Within the first couple seconds of dims single someone else you’re greeted with this synth which turns into a great instrumental opening followed by phenomenal vocal work. With just that opening I can already tell this song is gonna be great. As you continue listening the song reaches the chorus and I can honestly say this is a chorus that is gonna have you singing along as loud as you can. Have you ever heard a song and just know it’s one of those songs you're going to blast as loud as you can on an evening drive right about dusk with the windows down just because it’s that great with the hope someone else also hears it’s greatness and Then they start blaring it as well? Well if so then dims single someone else is one of the songs for you. 

Forming in 2020 in the Atlanta underground scene, dim has certainly made a name for themselves quickly. Dim is a 4 piece energetic and emotional pop rock band who took something so “dim” and brightened our lives with their great music. The band plans to work on more music and we are honestly excited to see what else they come up with. They will definitely be on our radar with their future releases.
