SINGLE REVIEW: The Monster Inside - "My Mark"

South Texas Hardcore band, The Monster Inside has released a new single to kick off 2020. It has been 4 years since their very first single. Since then they have blurred the lines between Metal-core and Post-hardcore. Currently they are working on the next EP set to release later on this year. The EP will feature both singing and screaming. The Monster inside concentrates on delivering passion and intensity within their music. 

Their new single “My Mark” features Kaleb Eddy of Whether, I. It brings both a catchy chorus but heavy guitars. My Mark is about leaving a legacy when the world comes to an end, how your actions affect the present, and how to be the best version of yourself. The song features catchy riffs. Bringing both screaming and singing together during the chorus to make it sound bigger. It features a breakdown that definitely makes you want to jump. We are going to give this a ten. It’s something we would listen to on repeat.
