Melodic/Metalcore band hailing from Seattle, Washington, Clay City has been on the top of our list for a while! They released their first single back in 2018 called “Better Weather”. They Released their first EP “Clay City” in 2019. Clay City blends ambient and melodic leads that will easily become the next melody stuck in your head with heavy hitting riffs that keep your head banging. The band officially came to fruition in Spring of 2018 with Lucas Elder as lead vocalist, Kyle Edwards on bass guitar and supporting vocals, Ben Evans and Randy Bekken sharing both lead and rhythm guitar responsibilities, and Kalen Anderson on drums. The group’s mixture of Melodic Hardcore and Metalcore is perfect for fans of bands like Beartooth, Gideon, and Counterparts.

“Flatline” features a opening riff that already gets us into the groove. It features a lead that takes the forefront of each verse. It has an incredible breakdown that makes you bop you head up and down. It gives us some Counterparts melodies. We would definitely recommend adding this to your Spotify playlists!
