SINGLE REVIEW: Arkangela - "Take It To Your Grave"

Arkangela is a heavy rock quartet hailing from St. Louis, MO, whose sound lives inside of duality, an equal measure of octane, opulence, melody and mayhem. The band has released an 1 album for far, Limbo. Limbo was released back in 2015. The band has continued to work on music during that time and has finally given us what we have all been asking for.

Take It To Your Grave Is a fast paced and erratic anthem of Machiavellian justice, conveying a message of questioning authority and perspective of ideals. While they address situations that use smoke and mirrors, their message is clear, “If you’d kill for an idea that you claim you’re defending, take it to your grave.” Two sides throw all pieces off the board, and fight for control of the host, using fear and violence, inside a psychedelic, politically twisted nightmare. It features high energy riffs, and leads that remind us of an Avenged Sevenfold song. The vocals are very energetic. We would definitely recommend.
