The last thing we were expecting today was Post-Hardcore / Metalcore band, Underøath suddenly dropping a brand new song today called, “Damn Excuses.” This is their latest releases within the the last three years since they had release their album, Erase Me.

Chris Dudley keyboardist of the band had this to say about the message and insight on the song, “This song came out of nowhere for us. In hindsight, it probably stems emotionally from the anxiousness that a year of isolation will give you, and that ‘wanting-to-explode’ feeling came out with zero effort. It was therapeutic.” Here’s also what the band had to say on their Facebook page with a teaser clip of the song to check out.

This definitely a song full of rage waiting to get back on the road to play their hearts out to their fans, and definitely going to be one of those songs where you’re going to want to jump into a mosh pit for. You can listen to the full song here on their YouTube channel or any music platform as well.
