SONG PREMIERE: Quebec’s Cycle / End newest single “Strike Back”

Heavy hitting, Raw and powerful are just some ways to describe Cycle / End’s newest single “Strike Back” That was just released October 10th. Hailing out of Quebec, this project takes influences from all over the alternative music spectrum. The in your face 4 to the floor beat and the raw vocals give old school punk vibes mixed with CKY, while the beautiful voice of Rebecca Bucci is the subtle relief that breaks the bonds of modern genres and gives this raw in your face song a lighter side. Composer and guitarist Jérémie Dalpé has a distinct voice that demands your attention immediately, while Rebecca’s backing vocals adds another element that lightens the mood while still keeping it heavy and hard. 

Cycle / End is a relatively new project that is breaking through the noise. Only having two other singles, Strike Back while fitting in with the others, still stands out from the rest with the dynamic of songwriting and the in your face momentum the song starts with. The mix of metal sounding guitars and punk influenced vocals and drums mixes for an enjoyable listen and is something that brings me back to being a kid playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. The mix of Motorhead and CKY is something I really never heard before but I sure hope to hear more!
